At insurance.com.au we offer combined Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance for Podiatrists under our Healthcare Professionals Civil Liability policy.

A patient or visitor may file a claim if they slip, trip, or fall in your clinic due to wet floors, misplaced equipment or poor lighting, alleging that the premises were not maintained to ensure safety.
Professional Negligence
Instances where a patient claims that the care provided did not meet expected professional standards, leading to unsatisfactory results, prolonged pain, or complications, such as improperly treated plantar fasciitis.
Error of Judgment
Situations where a patient feels that your treatment decisions—such as recommending orthotics or a specific procedure—were inappropriate for their condition, resulting in harm, increased discomfort, or additional medical issues.
